If you go driving around Northeast Minneapolis, or Nordeast as the locals say, you may come across a block that houses the 331Club. On this particular corner, as bar has been there since 1899.
The 331 underwent a major transformation in March of 2005, exposing its original tin ceiling, building a stage, renovating the back bar adding oversized seating and remodeling the kitchen and bathrooms.
Since re-opening, the 331 Club has become the social center for artists and musicians in and around Northeast Minneapolis, hosts a variety of events, focusing on live music and entertainment every night of the week, and a really cool neon sign.
Part of my Pop Art series.
